The Scale-Up Visa is one of the UK’s points-based immigration routes. BRAVIOT advises applicants on every aspect of the application, from initial eligibility assessment through to the submission of supporting evidence and the management of any follow-up correspondence from the Home Office.
How we can help
- Initial eligibility assessment against the published criteria
- Strategy session, choosing the right route and the right timing
- Evidence pack preparation, identifying gaps and addressing them ahead of submission
- Personal statement and supporting letters drafted to present the case at its best
- Application submission and Home Office correspondence
- Administrative review or appeal in the event of refusal
- Forward-planning for dependants, extensions and settlement (ILR)
Our approach
UK visa applications succeed on evidence. Many refusals come from applications that may meet the rules in principle but fail to evidence them clearly. We work with clients to assemble the strongest possible application first time, explaining the route in plain English, identifying the documents needed, and preparing the personal statement and supporting letters that frame the case in the best light.
Is the Scale-Up Visa right for you?
Tell us a little about your circumstances and we will respond with a clear view on eligibility and the best route forward, usually within the same working day.
Speak with our teamFrequently asked questions
For high-skilled applicants with a job offer from a UK scale-up business, flexibility after the first 6 months. Speak with BRAVIOT to confirm whether your circumstances meet the published eligibility criteria.
Standard processing varies by route and country of application but is typically 3 weeks for applications made outside the UK and up to 8 weeks for in-country applications. Priority and super priority services are available on many routes for an additional Home Office fee.
Most work and study routes allow dependants, partners and children under 18, to apply alongside the main applicant. Each dependant has their own evidence requirements.
Eligibility for settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain) varies by route. Most points-based work routes lead to ILR after 5 years of continuous lawful residence, though some, such as the Innovator Founder route, offer a faster 3-year pathway. We track the qualifying period and prepare the ILR application at the right time.
We assess your eligibility, advise on the strongest framing of the case, identify and assemble the evidence pack, prepare the personal statement and supporting letters, submit the application, and represent you through to a decision, including any administrative review or appeal if needed.
