Braviot Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement (the “Statement”)
Introduction
This statement is made voluntarily in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out Braviot Limited’s (“Braviot”, “we”, “us”, “our”) approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.
Our Organisation
Braviot is a commercial law firm focused on delivering high‑quality legal services to clients across the UK and internationally. The depth of expertise within Braviot and our overseas network enables us to manage complex and large‑scale transactions with confidence and precision.
Our work requires us to advise clients on their legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities. We apply the same principles internally, striving to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in all aspects of our operations.
Most of our staff are directly employed, with a small number engaged as consultants. None of our roles fall within categories typically considered at higher risk of modern slavery. As a regulated provider of legal services employing predominantly qualified and skilled professionals, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our business to be low. We maintain robust policies and procedures relating to recruitment, employment screening, and working conditions.
Our Supply Chain
As an office‑based organisation, our supply chain primarily consists of goods and services that support our operational needs. These include office space, facilities management (such as security, cleaning, and office supplies), IT and technology services, professional services, and business travel.
Policies
Braviot has implemented several policies designed to minimise the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain. These include:
Recruitment policies
Whistle-blowing policy
Equality and Diversity policy
Employee code of conduct
Training
We provide guidance to staff who engage with suppliers and intend to expand training across the wider organisation. Our aim is to increase awareness of the severe impact of modern slavery and human trafficking and to ensure our teams understand how to identify and escalate potential risks.
Looking Ahead
Over the coming years, we will continue to strengthen our internal awareness and oversight. We will proactively review and enhance our policies, procedures, and supplier due‑diligence processes to identify, prevent, and mitigate any risks of modern slavery or human trafficking within both new and existing supplier relationships.
Board Approval
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Braviot Limited.
